About the Vendo 110  (Version with a coin mech)

The Vendo 110 is a large, coin-operated machine capable of holding 110 bottles. Lovingly referred to as ‘a beast’ by many due to its large size and heavy weight of 363 lbs.   Early versions of the Vendo 110 dispensed bottles, like all the machines before it, but in the 60s, Vendo recreated the 110 to dispense cans.

Features

• The machine featured wooden a frame in the main door and in the cabinet, adding to its bulk. 
• 1952-1959 production of the original Vendo 110.

• Some versions came with a white top.
• This machine can vend any size bottle from 6.5-12 oz. bottles making it a popular choice for collectors.
• Ten slanted rows that roll bottles down to be ended.
• Pre-cools 34 bottles down below.
• Coin operated on nickels or dimes with a crank handle.
• Open the glass door that is on the right side to remove the bottle.
• Original versions have wood inside of the door that often needs to be replaced.

• Popularity and Collectibility

The Vendo 110 is a collectible machine with the classic 1950s look, but it is larger than most.   The heavy main door is often an issue as it can weigh down on the hinges over time making it difficult to use.
